• Mitsubishi Motors has confirmed the return of the L200 pick-up to the UK market this year, with prices starting from £36,295, marking a significant step in the brand’s revival after its withdrawal in 2020.

The seventh-generation L200 will be the first model to arrive as part of Mitsubishi’s UK relaunch, with a new Outlander SUV set to follow later. Offered exclusively as a double-cab pick-up, the new L200 will be available in both four-seat passenger form and a dedicated two-seat commercial variant.

The L200 Commercial has been re-engineered as a full two-seater. A permanent cabin conversion replaces the rear passenger area with a secure, hidden load compartment, ensuring full compliance with UK commercial vehicle legislation.

Two trim levels are available: Titan and Barbarian. Both are powered by a 2.4-litre bi-turbo diesel engine paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive as standard. The range-topping Barbarian adds Mitsubishi’s Super Select 4WD-II system, allowing drivers to choose the most suitable drive mode for varying terrain, including the ability to engage four-wheel drive on high-grip surfaces.

Commercial models are priced at £37,495 for the Titan and £41,195 for the Barbarian (CV OTR), while passenger versions start at £36,295 and rise to £39,995. All variants can tow up to 3.5 tonnes, carry payloads exceeding 1,000kg, and come with a five-year warranty plus five years of pan-European breakdown assistance.

Customers can register their interest now, with first UK deliveries expected in May.
