• MG Motor UK has announced this week that its highly-anticipated EV roadster, the Cyberster, is now available to order with the first UK deliveries planned for August this year.

    Both models feature signature scissor doors as envisioned by Carl Gotham and his MG London design team. The single motor Cyberster Trophy starts from £54,995 OTR and like all MG models is supported by a comprehensive 7-year, 80,000-mile warranty.

    The Trophy delivers power figures of 340PS (250kW) with maximum torque confirmed at 350 lb ft (475 Nm). The 0-62mph sprint is completed in 5.0 seconds. 

    The £59,995 Cyberster GT will be the marque’s new flagship, and the most powerful production model in MG’s 100-year history with no less than 503PS (375kW) and 725Nm (535 lb ft) of torque. The dual-motor, all-wheel-drive GT is capable of sprinting from 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds.

    The Trophy and GT’s 77kWh battery delivers an exemplary combination of range and performance. Maximum range (WLTP) for the Trophy is 316 miles and 276 miles for the more performance-focused GT.


  • MINI has releaed pricing and specs for the MINI Aceman, the latest addition of the MINI family in the form of a mid-size all-electric crossover.

    The MINI Aceman is available exclusively with an all-electric powertrain, with customers able to choose from tw output levels – E and SE. 

    The MINI Aceman E hosts a high-voltage battery with a capacity of 42.5 kWh, offering up to 192 miles of electric range (WLTP). A 135 kW/184 hp electric motor generates a torque of 290 Nm and accelerates the vehicle from 0 to 62 mph in 7.9 seconds.

    With an increased output of 160 kW/218 hp, the MINI Aceman SE offers an increased range of 252 miles thanks to a 54.2 kWh battery and sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 7.1 seconds with a maximum torque of 330 Nm.

    In addition to the two output levels, E and SE, three trims are available for the Aceman – Classic, Exclusive and Sport .

    The new MINI Aceman will go on sale in June and is priced from £31,800 OTR, with first customer deliveries commencing November 2024.
