HMRC has released its latest advisory fuel rates (AFRs) this week, which will come into force from 1st June 2022.

Available at https://comcar.co.uk/taxpages/afrs/ the AFRs for all petrol rates increased for all three engine size categories - up to 1,400cc engine (14ppm up from 13ppm), 1,400-2,000cc (17ppm up from 15ppm) and over 2,000cc (25ppm up from 22pm).

Diesel rates for engines have also increased for all engine sizes - up to 1,600cc (19ppm up from 16ppm), 1,601-2,000c (13ppm up from 13ppm) and engines over 2,000cc (16ppm up from 13ppm).

AFRs for all LPG-powered vehicles have also increased across the range - up to 1,400cc (9ppm up from 8ppm),1,401-2,000cc (16ppm up from 15ppm and engines over 2,000cc (16ppm up from 15ppm)

The advisory electricity rate (AER) for electric cars also remains unchanged at 5ppm.
