HMRC has released its latest advisory fuel rates (AFRs) this week, which will come into force from 1st December 2021.
Available at https://comcar.co.uk/taxpages/afrs/ the AFRs for all petrol rates increases by 1ppm for engine sizes up to 1,400cc engine (13ppm) and 1,400-2,000cc (15ppm). For engines and over 2,000cc, the rates have increased by 2ppm (22ppm).
Diesel rates increase by 1ppm for all three engine size categories - up to 1,400cc engine (11ppm), 1,400-2,000cc (13ppm) and over 2,000cc (16ppm).
AFRs for all LPG-powered vehicles have also increased across the range - 2ppm increase for engines up to 1,400cc (9ppm) and 1,401-2,000cc (10ppm). A 3ppm increase applies to engines over 2,000cc (15ppm)
The advisory electricity rate (AER) for electric cars has also increased by 1ppm and is now 5ppm.
